The patchwork technique in the fabrics of Jun Takahashi and his Undercover sticks perfectly to the urban fabric of the metropolises of the Rising Sun and you immediately notice the maniacal search for materials, from the lightest to the heaviest, wisely inserted one on top of the other. Rick Owens increasingly obsessive verticality is obviously the creator's search for a stylistic form as a witness to a society that wants to evolve without compromise. For Issey Miyake and Satoshi Kondo, fashion is in constant motion, almost perpetual. In this Spring / Summer 2021 collection in particular, the “Journey” takes on a particular symbolic aspect.
