Wise Sartorial Manufacturing in a Modern and Contemporary Style

The result of the obstinate and ambitious research of our boutique, for the Spring / Summer 2022 we have included several avant-garde designers who are emerging on the world scene. The first of these is definitely Ziggy Chen (aka Chen Xiang) is one of the forces behind the well-known Shanghai-based Decoster label, one of the oldest design brands in China. He began studying fashion design, later becoming a university professor of textile design. For about 20 years he worked in the fashion field in business management for the Decoster brand. However, in the second half of 2011 Ziggy began experimenting with the development of his personal vision of fashion, thus creating Decoster Concept, a new label. Only later, when he turned 40 in 2010, did he have the idea of creating his own collection. With the encouragement of enthusiastic supporters, he began designing in 2011. Since the beginning of his business he has explored new solutions in terms of patterns, details, volumes and new materials, even creating new fabrics. In this way he combines washed wool, cashmere or linen with metal threads that create particular style effects that can last for a long time. Most of the materials used come from Italy and are sewn in ChinaZiggy Chen aims to blend traditional and modern elements in his collections, creating a style with the intent of combining traditional Chinese tailoring with the charm of contemporary fashion. For the Spring / Summer 2022 season we present the INACGRAPHY collection with an optimistic and light attitude, which gives joy and ecstatic serenity to the wearer. The same that is found in the figures of the paintings that, like idle spirits, populate the garments of this collection by Ziggy ChenINACGRAPHY at first sight means cryptic and magical: Inacgraphy. Ziggy Chen created the word, including inaction and iconography and is a tribute to classical painting and the characters that populate it. These characters are idealized, almost divine, and a tribute to men in ancient Chinese paintings. The garments seem ancient yet they are new, they are full of surprises for the wearer. Some jackets have a small detachable bag or are reversible. The fabrics are characterized by interweaving of cotton, linen, ramie and viscose. The shades, like the varnished paintings, are in natural green and ocher accents to compose unique and inimitable garments.
